The Village of Webster, Monroe County,
New York
Scenic Village Apartment Homes and Townhomes are located in the
village of Webster. As explained by the
Webster Chamber of Commerce, Webster is located in the northeast part of Monroe County bordered on the north by Lake Ontario, the west by lrondequoit Bay, the east by Wayne County, and the south by the town of Penfield.
Lake Ontario moderates Webster's climate, keeping it about five degrees warmer in the winter and five degrees cooler in the summer. Webster, with its natural assets and exemplary recreational facilities, is rapidly becoming New York's newest destination for recreation. Through the joint efforts of the
Town of Webster and the
Webster Central School District, state of the art recreational facilities that can support local, regional and state athletic competition have been built.
With 22 miles of natural shoreline along Irondequoit Bay and Lake Ontario, opportunities for swimming, boating, fishing and other water sports abound. Webster is home to 10 parks (approximately 900 acres). Webster is also home to the
Webster Arboretum, as well as
Webster Park, a 550 acre county park located along the shoreline of Lake Ontario. Webster maintains an extensive network of bike and hiking trails.
North Ponds Park
To the immediate west of Scenic Village is

CommutingRochesterians are fond of saying it takes at most only twenty minutes to get from any point A to any point B you choose in the greater metro area. And it's true, even in rush hour. The expressways can carry you from Scenic Village to the
Greater Rochester International Airport or any regional mall in twenty minutes or less.
City amenities such as restaurants, night life, theatre (
Geva Theatre), museums (
Strong National Musuem of Play,
Memorial Art Gallery), and sports (
Red Wings Baseball,
Rhinos Soccer,
Razorsharks Basketball,
Rochester Rattlers Lacrosse) also fall within that twenty-minute range. Not to mention more
golf courses than you can shake a putter at. The
Seneca Park Zoo is about fifteen minutes away.
The beautiful
Finger Lakes region, famous for award-winning wines, begins about an hour south of Rochester and is easily accessible from the NYS Thruway.
